Task Aerospace, Inc. has been award a contract by the US Navy for support of aircrew egress systems. The Tri-Services contract will address issues associated with US Air Force, US Navy and US Army aircrew escape systems and the associated pyrotechnic components. This contract will also provide support to foreign military forces.

The Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is awarded by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NSWC IHEODTD), Indian Head, Maryland. Task Aerospace, Inc. is awarded Task Order 3 of the IDIQ contract in support of Tri-Service Engineering Support Services efforts on-going at the US Navy. The contract is titled:

TRI-SERVICE AIRCREW ESCAPE SYSTEMS TOTAL LIFE CYCLE MANAGEMENT SUPPORT FOR THE CAD/PAD JOINT PROGRAM OFFICE (JPO), NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, INDIAN HEAD EXPLOSIVE ORDNANCE DISPOSAL TECHNOLOGY DIVISION

Within its commitments to NAVAIR, NSWC IHEODTD contracts for expert services in support of on-going engineering, technical, administrative and program management. Task Aerospace will provide the highest level of Life-Cycle Management support for CAD/PAD Program products and services required by the Tri-Services and Foreign Military forces of the 21st Century. Contracting engineering support services, such as these, are required to augment the in-house capabilities of the CAD/PAD Joint Program Office (JPO) and Tri-Service CAD/PAD Division and to maintain awareness of leading edge technologies.

CAD/PAD Services provided by Task Aerospace will support design, development, acquisition, fabrication, prototyping, production support, testing, qualification, certification, in-service, logistics, technical data, technical writing, and configuration management. Task Aero will provide support services to assist the CAD/PAD JPO, NSWC IHEODTD with total Life Cycle Management to increase and enhance the responsiveness and functionality of the Office to the operating forces, the Systems Commands, the DoD, other Government Agencies, and private industry involved in the manufacture of CAD/PAD components of Aircrew Escape Systems.
