Task Aerospace, Inc. celebrated its 13th anniversary on October 28, 2026. Task began in 2013 as an idea to provide egress support to the growing use of former fighter aircraft by commercial operators and foreign governments. Task has grown exponentially over the past 13 years, providing ejection seat servicing, aircrew flight/life support equipment maintenance, and explosive component manufacturing. Customers include US and foreign governments as well as those commercial operators of former fighter aircraft. Task’s focus is to provide qualified, exceptional support of every aspect of aircrew egress systems for ESCAPAC, Northrop F-5/T-38, SIIIS and ACES II Ejection seats.

Task’s President, Tony Nikopoulos, explains “The company’s primary goal is saving lives; our mantra is “Everything Egress!”  He continued, “2026 was our biggest year ever. It included the expansion of our two facilities in Mesa. Task has also added qualifications and delivery of new egress pyrotechnic devices (CAD/PAD), as well as modification of legacy systems for operators to create a common qualified sustainable escape system.”

2026 saw many major events for Task. From purchasing a new facility on the Gateway Airport and expanding its explosives facility in Mesa, to providing company stock to its employees who now share ownership of this growing company.

Task Aerospace employs over 30 experts, most with decades of aircrew egress system support.  Task Aerospace is a privately held company incorporated in the state of Delaware, on October 28, 2013, by its founder, Bob LaFrance. Mr. LaFrance said, “Task has grown into a five-member Board of Directors with employees who now share ownership in the company.”

Task operates four facilities in the United States: two in Mesa, Arizona, one near Hill Air Force Base in Utah, and one in Panama City, Florida. Visit www.taskaero.com for greater detail.
