The Task Aerospace team is continuing to grow its expertise. This time with Mr. Jim Laselute, an Expert in Everything Egress
Mr. Jim Laselute, US Air Force CAD/PAD and Egress Technician, has joined Task’s Egress Systems Team as Program Manager. Jim brings over 40 years of knowledge and hands-on experience in Egress System and CAD/PAD (pyrotechnic devices and systems used in aircrew egress) maintenance and management.
In June 1982 Jim joined the US Air Force and became a Certified Egress Technician, where he excelled in working A-10, F-4, F-15, F-16, F-22, T-33, T-38, and U-2 egress systems. With the US Air Force, he became a Certified US Air Force Egress Quality Assurance Inspector, and instructed Egress System Familiarization courses to USAF personnel. Jim retired from active duty in November of 2004 and in April of 2005 he accepted a position as Lead Egress Technician in the Depot Egress Shop at Hill Air Force Base, in Ogden, Utah. In September of 2008, Jim was coaxed into joining the CAD/PAD Program Office at Hill AFB, where he provided outstanding technical management support for many critical CAD/PAD devices, as well as mishap investigation support to the USAF Safety Center. Jim retired as Lead Equipment Specialist at the CAD/PAD Program Office in April of 2024 and joined Task Aerospace.

Jim joins Task Personnel dedicated to the maintenance and training of egress systems and aircrew flight equipment located at the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport in Arizona. Task maintains two offices in Arizona, one in Florida and one near Hill Air Force Base in Utah. Task provides complete egress support and training within the US and in many countries around the world.
