Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, Hanger 46, One-Stop Egress and Flight Equipment Service Center
Task Aerospace Inc. is pleased to announce the opening of its new service facilities at the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport in Mesa, Arizona. At this facility, Task offers a full Egress / Ejection Seat and Aircrew Flight Equipment Service Center. The new facility allows customers to send their equipment to Task, and it offers the unique ability to allow the costumer to bring the aircraft to the facility and pickup their aircraft when complete. Egress and Flight Equipment Personnel are on staff supporting several local operators of former fighter jets, and operators of C-130 aircraft.
Bob LaFrance, President and CEO of Task Aerospace, Inc. indicated that, “selection of this location hinged on several factors including runway length, hanger space available, weather, proximity to customers, and to the years of experience in egress and flight equipment available in the Phoenix Valley. The Valley has a vast history and wealth of knowledge in egress system technology from the development and test of ejection seats and explosives to US Air Force trained Flight Equipment technicians.”
This is the first facility in the United States dedicated to the service of commercial and government-operated fighter, transport and trainer aircraft egress and flight equipment. Customers include International and US operators and flight crew. Like all Task Aerospace facilities, this new location will offer qualified technicians that meet the requirements of the customer and the ultimate Government customers. Ejection seats as well as the helmets, masks, harnesses, and survival equipment are serviced per the US Government documentation and recertified by Task Technicians.
