Task Aerospace, Inc. would like to welcome Mr. Ken Von Der Ahe to its CAD/PAD Team. Ken has over 30 years designing, testing, qualifying, modifying and manufacturing explosive devices and systems in use today on most launch vehicle and missile systems. Ken has also worked Safety Systems on such aircraft platforms as F-14, A-6 and F-22, as well as H-60, OH-58 and AH-64. Ken’s expertise as Senior CAD/PAD Engineer will significantly expand the capabilities for developing new sources for obsolete and near obsolete CAD/PAD items used in egress systems and on ejection seats. Further, Mr. Von Der Ahe will support US Navy and US Air Force efforts to improve pyrotechnic devices and reduce sustainment costs of CAD/PAD items. Through current US Navy contracts, Ken will work with Hill Air Force Base and NSWC personnel.
Mr. Von Der Ahe has worked with major pyrotechnic device manufacturers such as Space Ordnance Systems, OEA Aerospace, Pacific Scientific and Network Electronics. With an in depth technical analysis ability for explosive and structural components, Ken will lead Task’s design and development programs in support of current and aging platforms for US and foreign operators of ejection seat equipped aircraft.
