Task Aerospace, Inc. is proud to announce that Ms. Diane Cooper has joined Task’s Mesa-Gateway team as an Aircrew Flight Equipment (AFE) Technician.  Diane brings an incredible amount of knowledge and experience in AFE maintenance and management to the team.

In November 1988 Diane joined the US Air Force as a Survival Equipment Technician, where she developed expert skills working with a wide variety of parachutes, survival and flight equipment, and emergency egress system components.  After separating from the Air Force in July 1994, Diane eventually returned to the military related Civil Service workforce in 2001.  Her expertise in AFE led her to the Commodities Maintenance Group of Ogden ALC’s depot maintenance facility at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.  Diane’s skills, dedication to quality, and expertise quickly landed her in the Aircrew Flight Equipment Work Leader position.  Along the way she was appointed AFE Special Skills Qualifications Subject Matter Expert, where she also spearheaded a training program for all Depot Quality Assurance personnel.

Diane resigned from Civil Service as the Depot AFE Lead at Hill AFB in June 2023 and relocated to Mesa, Arizona, where she joined the Task Aerospace Aircrew Flight Equipment team.  TASK is very fortunate and truly honored to have Diane join Team Task at our Mesa Arizona, Gateway Airport facility!
