Task Aerospace, Inc. announced the addition of Mr. Mattias Jacobson to its Mesa-Gateway Egress and Aircrew Flight Equipment support staff as a Logistics Support Specialist. Mattias joined Team Task in March of 2024 and was an immediate boost to the team. Mr. Scott Gliem, Task’s Egress and AFE Program Director of Operations, said “Mattias has been an excellent addition to the team. He brings an incredible amount of knowledge and experience in explosive item management and maintenance support. Plus, his energy level and positive attitude are truly infectious!”
In July 2017 Mattias joined the USAF in the Munitions Career Field, where he became a certified Munitions Inspector. He advanced rapidly to the position of Team Lead. After separating from active duty in July 2023 he pursued his goal of attaining a degree in Engineering at Arizona State University. He began attending ASU in the fall of 2023. Mattias submitted his resume to Task in February 2024 and was hired immediately. He is balancing his time between supporting Task Aerospace and a heavy class load. With a natural talent for using computer programs and data systems, plus being fluent in German and passable in speaking Spanish and French, Mattias is a man of many talents. Mr. Tony Nikopoulos, President of Task Aerospace said, “Task is very fortunate and truly honored that Mattias joined our team, and we look forward to the day he moves into a permanent position on our Engineering Team!”
Task Aerospace, Inc. operates two facilities in Mesa, Arizona, one for Pyrotechnic Device manufacturing and one for Aircrew Flight Equipment and Ejection Seat servicing. Task also operates and office in Panama City, Florida supporting a number of ejection seats for domestic and foreign operators. Further, Task also has offices near Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah.
