On September 1, 2017 Task Aerospace was presented a plaque reflecting the  appreciation of the Marinha Do Brazil (Brazilian Navy) for Task’s support of the AF-1/1A (A-4/TA-4) Aircraft Modernization Program. The Navy attended a stand-alone program review at Task’s facilities in Mesa, Arizona presenting status and progress of their development programs under contract to Task Aerospace by the Brazilian Navy.  Following the program review the award was presented to Task by the Program Manager/Lead Engineer for the Modernization Program Capitão-de-Mar-e-Guerra Marcos Fricks Cavalcante, of the Grupo de Fiscalização e Recebimento de Aeronaves AF-1/1-A, Seção de Engenharia Aeronáutica and the Contracts Manager, Capitão-Tenente Leonardo Victor Alves Moura (GFRAer-AF1/1A).  Receiving the award is Mr. Bob LaFrance, President of Task Aerospace, and Mr. Jacques C. de Albuquerque, Task Aerospace representative based in Rio De Janeiro Brazil.
