TASK Aerospace, Inc. is proud to announce that Mr. Jeremy Ochs has joined the TASK team as New Business Development Manager. For the past 19 years, Mr. Ochs has worked with, and led, teams in the design, development and test of highly engineered safety products. For the past 13 of those years, Mr. Ochs led ejection seat efforts at United Technologies Aerospace Systems (UTAS), formerly Goodrich.
Jeremy’s background is extensive when it comes to ejection seat design. From bringing the ACES II® production line to Colorado, to the development of the ACES 4 and the ACES 5. The ACES 5 is the first ejection seat in the world to successfully meet 5th generation aircraft injury requirements. Jeremy led engineers and project managers on numerous product development projects, ensuring that the designs met customer requirements. He has driven internal R&D funded development projects with budgets exceeding USD$6M. Through these efforts, Jeremy is extremely familiar with stage gate processes, risk assessment and management, compliance, ECOs, BOMs, BOOs, WBS, schedules and budgets. In addition, Jeremy’s background includes the following:
- Component and mechanism designs for various ejection seat functions
- UTAS Cognizant Authority for engineering changes across all ejection seat programs
- Development of test plans, test reports, test fixtures, and testing requirements
TASK personnel include many who have designed, developed, tested, and improved ejection seats, aircrew escape systems, and CAD/PAD (pyrotechnic) items. With the addition of Jeremy Ochs, TASK is the premier ejection seat and egress system engineering firm capable of detailed support of current and legacy escape systems.
